Are You IN? Get Ready for Indiana's Largest Day of NIL Support on Tuesday, November 14th
BHN's own Galen Clavio and the team at Hoosiers Connect have organized an all-day content extravaganza to help support IU NIL efforts.
You may have seen posts like these on social media over the last few days:
And you may have seen the pictures of IU baseball legends Sam Travis and Kyle Schwarber wearing these hats at their recent reunion:
So what gives?
What does “I’m IN” refer to?
What does it all mean?
It’s all pointing toward the first Hoosiers Connect Day of NIL Support coming tomorrow (Tuesday, November 14th).
To learn more and even get a head start on your donation, visit the official website:
The goal is simple: raise as much money as possible for Indiana’s “NIL war chest,” which can be used to compete in the new reality of college sports.
And while large donations like the $5,000 from Jameson Rosado and $12,000 from Mark Wise, which have already come in, are extremely helpful, don’t underestimate the power of hundreds of thousands of Hoosiers all over the globe setting up smaller recurring donations.
Every bit we all contribute to Indiana’s NIL activities helps us compete for the kinds of players we need to win at the levels we all desire.
Plus, every donation is being matched by an anonymous fellow IU supporter:
To raise awareness and education for NIL and this event, our BHN partner Galen Clavio of

I’ll be helping to facilitate the discussions during the evening session.
You will be able to find links to all of the interviews on the INforIndiana website and on the Back Home Network YouTube page.
If you have any questions, leave a comment below. Either I’ll answer, or if I don’t know I can reach out to someone from Hoosiers Connect to help out.
It should be a fun day hearing from some of Indiana’s most prominent current athletes, while giving all of us an easy, clear way to pledge our support for Indiana’s NIL activities.
The NIL system is realistically here to stay, a fact with which I am fine. The"Elephant in the room" for me personally is I really want to hear aloud from our Board of Trustees, President Whitten and AD Dolson what are their goals/expectation of IUFB for the next decade. I understand they are not directly related to Hoosiers Connect but their opinions and actions will certainly have an impact for better or worse on NIL contributions. I do not believe there can be an improvement with our current coaching staff. We need a new clearly stated paradigm. I'd be pleased if we could predictably compete at the mid-level of the Big 10 with our peer universities, e.g., Purdue, Illinois, Northwestern, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and the like. There are successful coaches out there (such as Curt Cignetti at JMU) who will be highly sought in a couple of weeks even though they are not from historically strong Division 1 schools. The NIL situation depending largely on alumni generosity requires a foundation of reasonable optimism.
