The Big 10 came back down to earth this past week. There were several marquee matchups, and most of them resulted in losses for the BIG 10. Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio State all came up short.
After a week of several upsets, the top of the poll remained relatively the same. Arizona continues to play well and will have a huge matchup with 4th ranked Purdue this Saturday.
Clemson, Oklahoma, and BYU continue to be the surprise teams this year. BYU suffered their first lost on Saturday to the Utah Utes. Clemson and Oklahoma are still undefeated, but Clemson has more quality wins at this point.
Our panel does have a lot of respect for some smaller schools. James Madison is 20th in our poll and several others receive votes. These are quality teams from lesser known conferences. Keep an eye on these teams and they may be an upset choice in your brackets come March.

Purdue retakes the top of our BIG 10 power rankings. They went up to Toronto and defeated a solid Alabama squad. Ohio St and Michigan State are the big losers this week as they were both upset on the road in BIG 10 play
Indiana moves up to 6th despite a tough loss to Auburn. A road win at Michigan helps the Hoosiers take the lead in the early portion of the conference season.
The conference has been struggling this year in the non-conference. They are limited opportunities for the conference to get quality wins. Iowa had a really tough week taking on 3 losses and Fran getting tossed in the last game.
