In Indiana’s first matchup of the regular season, the Hoosiers secured an 80-61 victory over SIU-Edwardsville.
This win marks the second time under Mike Woodson that Indiana has claimed its season opener by double digits—the last being in 2022-23, when Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino led the team.
As with most season openers, Indiana showed a mix of strengths and areas for improvement.
