Excellent but I have a few minor disagreements.

1. Z is nowhere close to the threat that Mac was her last few year. Obviously more athletic but not anywhere near as offensively capable of putting fear in defenses. And not so far able to constantly stay out of foul trouble.

2. Lenee has stepped it up greatly the last two games but we do not have so far the array of outside shooting to make Teri s system effective. Our three point guards scored a total of four points against FSU. This is important because we are going to play some teams that athletically will be able to take Shay out of her game with taller guards that are super athletic. And Edessa and Z will need help up front in conference play. Faith needs some more playing time because the way we are fouling Lenee will wind up the tallest player on the floor against the likes of UCLA and USC and Michigan

So bottom line I think it’s a good group with good leadership but I believe Teri Moren is going to have to adjust her system and philosophy a little to match her teams abilities and shortcomings.

Just my opinion . Sorry for the long response

I was trying to compare Z to freshman Mack. Not senior Mack. Clearly, Z is nowhere near where Mack was by the end, but she compares favorably with her early days, which is more what I was going for.

Sorry if that was not clear. Agreed, shooters are a bit less than the past, but still have options there.

Thanks for reading and appreciate your thoughts:).

Ari

You’re probably right about versus freshman Mac . But younger Mack I believe had Grace Berger and maybe Ali Patberg around .

Correct. Also had Brenna Wise to start at center with Mack backing her up.

That was definitely a much more loaded team, while Z has to have her feet thrown into the fire more by necessity right now.
