I didn’t see your latest podcast posted, except on YouTube, which is where we listened to it, so I’ll comment here. Question: It appears traditionally “top” schools have been unable to lure top coaches to leave their current school to fill their coaching vacancies (UNC, IU, etc). (Why leave a school where everything seems to be working…including a hefty budget… to start again elsewhere?) With that, are there any current coaches who will become the next Tom Izzo or Jay Wright in terms of lengthy tenure (with, of course, success being a critical piece in the mix) in the makings now? And, dare I ask, might Dusty May be one of them? Thanks for your thoughts.
Another must-see episode! Mike and Bob are on point once again, with many examples and insights that help us understand where we (IU fans) are and the directions we may go. Being in PR myself, I can’t wait until the X’s & Joe’s team finally starts that basketball-only PR firm they’ve been talking about for a while! Thanks, Mike and Bob!
