How to Sign Up For Peacock and Watch IU Basketball Games
Indiana's men's and women's basketball games both play important games on Peacock this season. Here are instructions to make sure you're set up.
As you may have heard, you’ll need another streaming service this season to be able to watch every IU men’s and women’s basketball game.
In addition to BTN+, which we’ve all had to fork over money to use for several seasons now, you’ll need a Peacock subscription this season to make sure you don’t miss any IU basketball action.
In this post, I’ll run down the men’s and women’s games on Peacock, provide instructions for how to sign up, and then use the comments to answer any questions you may have ahead of next Tuesday’s IU debut on Peacock against Michigan.
Let’s start with the schedule.

How to sign up for Peacock
The sign-up process is pretty straightforward.
First click this link: https://insidethehall.com/recommends/peacock/
Why that link? Because it’s an affiliate link for our friends at Inside The Hall. When you click it and sign up, Peacock pays them a commission. So we might as well keep some of that Peacock money in the IU family, right?
After you click the link, decide if you want Premium or Premium Plus. (I’m getting Premium, because I think ads run no matter what on live streaming sports content.)
Then just follow the normal process to sign up.
How to use Peacock
Peacock is fairly straightforward to use, like any other streaming service.
Here are a few helpful hints from MGoBlog that you may want to look at. Pay special attention to #4, because the Peacock live DVR doesn’t function like regular DVR or YouTube TV if you try to start the game late. (You can’t rewind to watch from the start; you have to wait for the replay, which is usually available 30-60 minutes after the game ends. Boo.)
If you have any questions, drop a comment below and I’ll do my best to answer.
