How to Sign Up For Peacock and Watch IU Basketball Games

Indiana's men's and women's basketball games both play important games on Peacock this season. Here are instructions to make sure you're set up.

As you may have heard, you’ll need another streaming service this season to be able to watch every IU men’s and women’s basketball game.

In addition to BTN+, which we’ve all had to fork over money to use for several seasons now, you’ll need a Peacock subscription this season to make sure you don’t miss any IU basketball action.

In this post, I’ll run down the men’s and women’s games on Peacock, provide instructions for how to sign up, and then use the comments to answer any questions you may have ahead of next Tuesday’s IU debut on Peacock against Michigan.

Let’s start with the schedule.

What IU basketball games are on Peacock this season?

Here are the games being televised on Peacock this season.

Women:

• v Minnesota on January 17

• at Purdue on January 21

• at Maryland on January 31

• v Michigan State on February 8

• at Wisconsin on February 14

• v Iowa on Feburary 22

• v Maryland on March 3

Men:

• at Michigan on December 5

• at Rutgers on January 9

• v Purdue on January 16

• at Ohio State on February 6

• v Wisconsin on February 27

How to sign up for Peacock

The sign-up process is pretty straightforward.

How to use Peacock

Peacock is fairly straightforward to use, like any other streaming service.

Here are a few helpful hints from MGoBlog that you may want to look at. Pay special attention to #4, because the Peacock live DVR doesn’t function like regular DVR or YouTube TV if you try to start the game late. (You can’t rewind to watch from the start; you have to wait for the replay, which is usually available 30-60 minutes after the game ends. Boo.)
